WILMINGTON, DE — Police are searching for a suspect accused in connection with a shooting that left two men injured in Wilmington last month.
Wilmington police reported officers responded at approximately 7:56 p.m. on February 23 to the area of West 4th and North Scott Streets following reports of a shooting.
According to investigators, officers located two gunshot victims, a 36-year-old man and a 37-year-old man. Police said both victims later arrived at a hospital and were listed in stable condition.
Authorities reported the case was assigned to Detective Michael Hayman of the Wilmington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
According to police, the investigation led detectives to identify 48-year-old Terry Walley as a suspect, and warrants were obtained for his arrest.
Investigators ask anyone with information about Walley’s whereabouts to contact police immediately. Tips can be reported by calling 911 or by contacting Detective Michael Hayman at (302) 576-3963.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
