Police Seek Public’s Help in 2019 Philadelphia Cold Case Murder

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a 2019 cold case homicide.

On August 22, 2019, at approximately 7:07 a.m., officers responded to the area of 12 North Millick Street, where they discovered a female victim who had been shot in the chest. The woman later died from her injuries.

Investigators reported that, shortly before she was found, surveillance footage showed the victim being followed by an unidentified Black male. Detectives believe the man may be connected to the case and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
