Police Seek Juveniles After Concrete Hurled Onto Route 611 Vehicle in Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Police are investigating a dangerous incident in which a chunk of concrete was allegedly dropped from an overpass onto a moving vehicle along Route 611, shattering the car’s windshield but miraculously leaving the driver unharmed.

According to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2026, when a 3-by-3-inch piece of concrete was thrown from the Dublin Pike overpass onto the northbound lanes of Route 611. Witnesses reported seeing three juveniles leaning on the overpass railing moments before the debris struck the vehicle.

One of the juveniles was described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with long brown hair, wearing a dark beanie and dark jacket. After the incident, the group was reportedly seen running toward East Sandy Ridge Road on Old Dublin Pike in Doylestown Township.

Police emphasized that the act was highly dangerous and could have caused serious injury or death. The driver sustained no injuries but suffered significant property damage to the vehicle.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the event, recognizes the individuals involved, or may have dash cam footage of the incident to contact Officer Greg Kutys at 215-345-4143 or submit a tip online.
