OXFORD, PA — The Oxford Police Department continues its search for a Delaware man accused of providing false information to officers during an encounter earlier this year at an Oxford apartment complex.

Authorities said the incident occurred on April 2, 2025, when officers were dispatched to the Oxhaven Apartments on Conowingo Circle for a report of solicitors refusing to leave the property. Upon arrival, police made contact with a man who identified himself using a name and date of birth that appeared to match photo records. The man was released from the scene and advised that a trespass citation would be filed.

However, investigators later determined that the individual had allegedly provided false information. His true identity was revealed to be 24-year-old Anthony Rodriguez of New Castle, Delaware.

Charges were subsequently filed against Rodriguez, but police said he failed to appear for a scheduled preliminary hearing on July 1, 2025, at the Oxford District Court. A warrant was then issued for his arrest under docket number MJ-15305-CR-0000141-2025.

Rodriguez is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He faces charges including false identification to law enforcement, defiant trespass, and a borough ordinance violation. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Oxford Borough Police Department at 610-268-3171.
