Police Response to Knife Incident Leads to Arrest in Wyomissing Parking Lot

WYOMISSING, PA — A reported domestic disturbance involving a knife in the Broadcasting Square shopping complex led to the arrest of a 39-year-old man on Saturday, according to the Spring Township Police Department.

Authorities say officers were dispatched on November 15 to the parking lot in the 2700 block of Paper Mill Road for a reported domestic assault. After investigating the incident, police arrested Jordan Wade, who was then transported to Berks Central Processing.

Wade faces several allegations, including aggravated assault for allegedly attempting to cause or causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon, terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, and possession of an instrument of crime with intent. Police did not release additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident, citing the ongoing nature of the case.

All charges are allegations at this stage, and a suspect or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
