Police: Intoxicated Teen Allegedly Assaulted Two in Huntingdon Valley Incident

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A Huntingdon Valley teen faces multiple charges following an alleged altercation that drew police to a residential area late last month.

According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance on October 25, 2025, in the 900 block of Barnswallow Lane. Upon arrival, officers encountered a male identified as Jake Sauder, who was reportedly intoxicated, yelling profanities, and exhibiting aggressive behavior in a hallway.

Police stated that when officers attempted to separate Sauder from others at the scene, he resisted their efforts. After a brief struggle, officers detained him to ensure his safety and the safety of those nearby. Further investigation led authorities to allege that Sauder had assaulted two individuals before officers arrived.

Sauder will be summonsed to face several charges, including resisting arrest, harassment through lewd or threatening language, disorderly conduct for unreasonable noise, and purchasing or possessing alcohol as a minor.

Authorities emphasized that all individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
