Police Hunt Intensifies for Man Wanted on Fraud Warrant in Pottstown Area

POTTSTOWN, PA — North Coventry Township police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who is the subject of an active arrest warrant tied to an alleged financial crime and a separate court matter in Montgomery County.

According to the North Coventry Township Police Department, officers are seeking 24-year-old Jamar Amir Baird of Carlisle, who is wanted in connection with an alleged access device fraud case. Police said Baird is also wanted by Montgomery County authorities for allegedly failing to appear in the Court of Common Pleas in a separate case.

The arrest warrant for Baird was issued on September 30, 2025, by District Court 15-3-01 under docket number MJ-15301-CR-0000222-2025. Investigators said he is believed to have family and associates in the Pottstown, Norristown, and Carlisle areas.

Authorities listed the incident location connected to the warrant as 858 East Schuylkill Road in Pottstown.

Baird is described as a Black male standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police stressed that the charge referenced in the warrant is an allegation and that Baird is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
