Philadelphia Police Seek Suspect in Costly Vandalism of Cybertruck

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged act of vandalism that caused significant damage to a vehicle in South Philadelphia.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on September 11, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m. Surveillance footage captured the suspect near a parked Tesla Cybertruck in the 2300 block of South Swanson Street. Police allege that after ensuring no one was nearby, the individual used a key or similar object to scratch the vehicle, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Authorities have not released additional identifying details about the suspect but are asking anyone with information to come forward.
