Philadelphia Man Charged in Warrington Retail Theft Cases

WARRINGTON, PAWarrington Township Police have charged a Philadelphia man in connection with two alleged retail thefts at the Walmart store located at 299 Valley Gate Drive.

According to police, loss prevention personnel reported that on September 25, 2025, 34-year-old Thomas Alexander Carrington entered the store, filled a shopping cart with merchandise, and allegedly scanned a lower-priced item at the self-checkout before leaving without paying for goods valued at $702.54.

Investigators said Carrington is also accused of committing a similar theft at the same location on September 3, 2025, in which he allegedly failed to pay for $99.88 worth of merchandise.

Carrington was arrested on October 2, 2025, in Hatfield and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. He was arraigned the same day before Judge Wertman, who set bail at $50,000 or 10% cash.

Carrington faces charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
