Philadelphia Man Arrested in West Chester for Possession of Stolen Vehicle

WEST CHESTER, PA — On the morning of November 7, 2023, a Philadelphia man was arrested in West Chester for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. The arrest followed an alert received by an officer from the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department while on patrol.

The officer was alerted at approximately 8:33 am about a stolen vehicle traveling west on West Chester Pike. Responding swiftly, a felony traffic stop was conducted on the suspected vehicle. The driver, identified as Daquise Akeem Brown, a 25-year-old male from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was subsequently arrested.

Brown now faces charges of receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, among other related charges. His arrest took place on the 1400 block of West Chester Pike, a busy thoroughfare in West Chester, PA.

The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department has filed a report under the ID# WE-23-19756 and is expected to present evidence supporting the charges in court.
