WARRINGTON, PA — A Philadelphia man is facing multiple charges after allegedly attempting to conceal merchandise and providing false information to police during a retail theft investigation at a Warrington Township Walmart earlier this month.

According to the Warrington Township Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Walmart located at 299 Valley Gate Drive on October 3, 2025, following a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, store loss prevention staff identified the suspect as 58-year-old Arthur Dany Dixon, who they recognized from a prior incident on August 31, when he allegedly stole $66.00 worth of merchandise.

During the October incident, police say Dixon concealed $45.92 worth of items in a bag before placing them on another shelf and leaving the store. Officers located Dixon shortly afterward boarding a SEPTA bus near the scene and asked him to exit the vehicle.

Investigators report that Dixon provided false identification multiple times despite being warned of potential criminal charges for doing so. He was taken into custody and transported to the police station, where authorities confirmed his true identity and discovered active warrants for his arrest from Bucks and Chester Counties.
