HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced charges against 13 individuals following a Carbon County investigation into the alleged distribution of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other illegal drugs.
The Office of Attorney General said the investigation targeted what authorities described as a network of suspected drug traffickers operating in the region.
Agents from the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, working with local law enforcement partners, served search and arrest warrants as part of the operation, the office said.
According to investigators, nine defendants are in custody or have arranged to surrender to authorities, while four others remain fugitives.
Those charged include Alfred S. “Green” Singleton Jr., Megan Yarnell, Ashley Yarnell, Logan Loveless, Joseph Hollan, William Daniel “Tanker” Hawk Jr., Michael Andrejco, John Mika, and Trista Hosier.
Authorities also charged Rebecca McMunn, Dameion Jackson, Leanna Altemose, and Carl Christman, who investigators said are not currently in custody.
All defendants face felony drug trafficking and related charges, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
“Drug trafficking poisons communities of every size – from major cities to the smallest towns,” Sunday said in a statement. “This operation sends a clear message: if you bring illegal drugs and risks of violence into our neighborhoods, you will be held accountable.”
The investigation was led by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Drug Strike Task Force, with assistance from the Carbon County District Attorney’s Office and police departments in Lehighton, Nesquehoning, Lansford, Jim Thorpe, and Franklin Township.
Officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
