PARKESBURG, PA — A Parkesburg woman has surrendered to authorities in connection with an alleged credit card theft and fraudulent transactions earlier this year, according to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department.
Police reported that 38-year-old Amanda Wagner turned herself in on Monday, August 11, 2025, in response to an active felony arrest warrant issued on March 19, 2025, by District Court 15-3-07. Wagner was processed and arraigned, with a preliminary hearing scheduled at the Parkesburg District Court.
The warrant stems from a January 4, 2025, report to police, in which investigators determined that a credit card had been stolen from a residence in Highland Township. Authorities allege Wagner used the stolen card on multiple occasions for unauthorized purchases.
The charges include Access Device Fraud and related offenses. Wagner is currently facing court proceedings, and under the law, she is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Police confirmed that the Parkesburg Borough Police Department was the holding authority in the case. The investigation remains ongoing.
