Parkesburg Man Faces Aggravated Assault Charges Following Incident

PARKESBURG, PA — A 24-year-old man was taken into custody by the Parkesburg Borough Police Department in connection with an alleged aggravated assault involving a weapon.

The arrest of Yefferson Vallejos-Zelaya followed an incident that occurred on May 25, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the 100 block of North Church Street. Police allege that Vallejos-Zelaya committed aggravated assault with a weapon, among other related offenses.

Following his arrest, Vallejos-Zelaya was arraigned and subsequently transported to Chester County Prison. Legal proceedings will continue with a preliminary hearing scheduled at District Court 15-3-07.

The Parkesburg Borough Police Department reminds the public that Mr. Vallejos-Zelaya, like all individuals accused of crimes, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
