PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a fatal shooting that occurred on May 15, 2025, in the city’s Logan neighborhood.
The incident took place at approximately 6:07 PM when officers from the 35th District responded to reports of a person with a gun near the playground of the Logan School, located at 1700 Lindley Avenue. Upon arrival, police found an 18-year-old male who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:32 PM.
A second victim, a 16-year-old male, was also located at the scene with gunshot injuries to his hands and legs. He was taken to the same hospital and remains in serious but stable condition.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a Black male in his late 20s to early 30s, with dreadlocks and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt featuring a gray design, a large chain with a medallion, and was reportedly fleeing westbound on Lindley Avenue from Broad Street toward Carlisle Street. The individual may go by the nickname “Feek.”
Philadelphia Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the shooting. Anyone with tips is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334 or submit information anonymously by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477).
Authorities stress that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
