Manhunt Underway After South Philly Mass Shooting Leaves 3 Dead, 10 Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are actively seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect linked to a mass shooting that left three people dead and ten others injured earlier this month in South Philadelphia.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit, the incident occurred on Monday, July 7, 2025, at approximately 12:56 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Etting Street. Surveillance video excerpts have been released, showing a male individual who is currently considered a suspect in the ongoing investigation.

Police say thirteen victims, both male and female, between the ages of 15 and 24, were struck by gunfire during the early morning attack. Three of those victims succumbed to their injuries, while the remaining ten sustained various degrees of gunshot wounds. Authorities have not publicly identified the deceased.

In an effort to generate leads, the City of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in each homicide related to the case.

The suspect seen in the surveillance footage remains at large. Investigators urge the public not to approach the individual if spotted. Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 immediately or submit an anonymous tip by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477).
