PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division has released a photo of a man they are seeking in connection with an alleged assault on an officer during a protest.
On June 10, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers were attempting to prevent protesters from interfering with an arrest in the 1000 block of Market Street. Authorities allege that during the incident, a man threw a traffic cone, striking an officer in the head.
The suspect is described as a white male with glasses and facial hair, wearing all dark clothing.
Police have advised the public not to approach the suspect if seen. Instead, individuals are encouraged to call 911 immediately.

Officials stress all tips will remain confidential. No additional details about the officer’s condition or the status of the protest were provided. All allegations remain under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
