Man Critically Injured in Wilmington Shooting; Police Seek Information

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left a 32-year-old man in critical condition Monday evening in the city’s West Side neighborhood.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. on August 11 in the 500 block of West 9th Street. Officers responding to the scene found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police have not released information on any potential suspects or the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and officials say additional details will be provided when available.
