Man Charged in Ulta Fragrance Theft in Wyomissing

WYOMISSING, PA — A Berks County man has been charged in connection with a retail theft incident that occurred earlier this year at a beauty supply store in Wyomissing, according to the Spring Township Police Department.

The alleged theft took place on February 25, 2025, at the Ulta Beauty store located at 2755 Paper Mill Road. Authorities say a male suspect concealed nine fragrance items and exited the store without making payment.

Following an investigation by Spring Township Police, 36-year-old Deladier Benitez-Lopez was identified as a suspect. He was arrested on July 7, 2025, and charged with Retail Theft – Taking Merchandise and Receiving Stolen Property.

Details regarding the total value of the merchandise have not been released. The case is being processed through the Berks County judicial system, and no further information has been made available at this time.
