PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a violent robbery that occurred in South Philadelphia last month.
According to investigators, the incident took place on June 13, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., when two unidentified males boarded the Route #17 SEPTA bus and followed a 57-year-old male victim. The suspects sat behind the victim and waited as the bus traveled through the city.
When the victim signaled for a stop and exited the bus at 19th and Dickinson Streets, the suspects followed him. Once off the bus, the two individuals allegedly attacked the victim, striking him several times before fleeing the scene with his personal belongings.
The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted confidentially by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477) or by contacting the South Detective Division directly at 215-686-3013 or 215-686-3014.
Authorities emphasize that anyone who spots the suspects should not approach them and should immediately call 911.
