HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — Police arrested a man Sunday following a reported domestic assault in Lower Moreland Township.
Lower Moreland Township police said officers responded Sunday, March 8 to a report of a physical domestic incident on Welsh Road in Huntingdon Valley.
According to investigators, the victim reported being physically assaulted during the incident. Police said responding officers observed visible injuries on the victim during their investigation.
Authorities reported that 30-year-old Shahrukh Shuvo was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
Police said Shuvo has been charged with simple assault and harassment involving physical contact.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
