Man Arrested After Alleged Knife Assault on Juvenile, Police Say

SPRING CITY, PA — A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Montgomery County on charges stemming from an alleged assault involving a juvenile earlier this month, according to the Spring City Police Department.

Authorities say the incident occurred on August 12, 2025, at approximately 10:22 p.m. in the 400 block of North Church Street. It is alleged that an adult male briefly followed a juvenile before striking the victim and brandishing a knife. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

Through their investigation, police identified the suspect as Christian Sands, of Spring City. A warrant for his arrest was issued on August 21, 2025, by Magisterial District Court 15-3-01 under docket number MJ-15301-CR-0000191-2025. Sands was taken into custody on August 25, 2025.

Sands has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment.

Authorities emphasize that all charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
