Man Arrested After Alleged Armed Theft at Bucks County Auto Zone

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP, PA — The Bucks County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Unit arrested 43-year-old Michael James Dundala on Monday, September 29, 2025, on multiple charges stemming from an April investigation.

Authorities said Dundala, of Bristol Township, was taken into custody and turned over to Lower Southampton Township Police for warrant processing. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Baranoski, who set bail, and Dundala was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

According to investigators, Dundala was identified in connection with an incident at the Auto Zone located at 284 E. Street Road in Feasterville on April 24, 2025. Police allege he committed a theft and displayed a handgun after being confronted by store employees. He was reportedly seen fleeing the scene on a motorcycle bearing a New Jersey registration plate that did not belong to the vehicle.

An arrest warrant for Dundala was issued on May 5, 2025, under docket number MJ-07107-CR-102-2025. He now faces charges of robbery, retail theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault, terroristic threats, and possessing an instrument of crime.

Criminal charges are allegations only. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
