HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A Philadelphia man has been charged in connection with an alleged 2024 road altercation and crash in Lower Moreland Township following his transfer from another jurisdiction to Montgomery County earlier this month.
According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, the incident occurred on May 12, 2024, at the intersection of Ayresdon Avenue and Walton Road. Officers responding to the scene found a white Honda Accord that had crashed into a fence. The vehicle was occupied by a man and a woman. Nearby, a gray Kia was stopped in the middle of the roadway, and its operator, identified as 25-year-old Jaquan Loeb, was allegedly standing outside holding a tire iron.
Police allege that Loeb had followed the occupants of the Honda before the collision and subsequently punched the male occupant in the face. The female occupant also told officers that Loeb had threatened her during the confrontation. The male victim reportedly sustained visible injuries.
Following an investigation, police obtained an arrest warrant for Loeb on charges of terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, stalking, simple assault, and harassment. After completing sentences in other jurisdictions, Loeb was transferred to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on October 10, 2025, to face the charges stemming from the Lower Moreland case.
All individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
