PARKESBURG, PA — A 50-year-old man has been charged after police say he attempted to cash a fraudulent check while using another person’s identity at a Parkesburg bank.
According to Parkesburg Borough police, officers investigated an incident on March 6 at Fulton Bank, located at 100 West First Avenue in Parkesburg.
Police reported that Beau Martin, 50, allegedly attempted to cash a fraudulent check while using the identity of another individual.
Following the investigation, authorities said Martin was arrested and charged with identity theft and related offenses.
Police reported Martin was remanded to Chester County Prison pending a preliminary hearing.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
