SHARON HILL, PA — A 44-year-old Philadelphia man was taken into custody in connection with alleged false statements related to a firearm transfer, according to the Sharon Hill Police Department.
Police said Bryant Christo Meredith was arrested without incident on February 19, 2026, at Philadelphia International Airport. He was subsequently taken into custody by Sharon Hill Police on March 2, 2026.
According to the department, an arrest warrant had been issued July 25, 2025, under docket number MJ-32237-CR-0000098-2025.
Meredith is charged with materially false written statement in connection with the purchase, delivery or transfer of a firearm and statement under penalty, both misdemeanor offenses, police said.
No additional details about the underlying allegations were released.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
