NEW CASTLE, DE — Two individuals are facing multiple felony charges after New Castle County Police recovered a loaded Glock handgun equipped with a high-capacity magazine and a fully automatic switch during a traffic stop near the I-495 on-ramp, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the New Castle County Division of Police, the incident occurred on July 22, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., when detectives assigned to the department’s Active Crime Trend Team conducted a proactive patrol in the Route 9 corridor. A black Nissan Altima was stopped on Terminal Avenue for a traffic violation.
Police say the vehicle was operated by 20-year-old Dasir Williams-Little of Wilmington, with 20-year-old Ollayah Blyden of New Castle in the passenger seat. During the course of the stop, officers allegedly discovered a loaded Glock handgun with an extended magazine and a device known as a “Glock switch,” which converts the firearm into a fully automatic weapon—both of which are classified as prohibited under Delaware law.
Williams-Little was reportedly taken into custody after resisting arrest. Blyden was arrested without incident and transported to police headquarters.
Williams-Little faces a series of charges, including:
- Possession of a firearm by a person under 21 (felony)
- Possession of a large-capacity magazine (felony)
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (felony)
- Possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted (felony)
- Carrying a concealed deadly firearm (felony)
- Possession of a destructive weapon (felony)
- Resisting arrest (misdemeanor)
- Breach of release (misdemeanor)
- Failure to signal continuously (violation)
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $36,500 cash bail.
Blyden was charged with:
- Possession of a firearm by a person under 21 (felony)
- Possession of a large-capacity magazine (felony)
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (felony)
- Possession of a destructive weapon (felony)
She was also arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $28,000 unsecured bail.
