WILMINGTON, DE — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured early Sunday morning in the city.
According to Wilmington Police, officers responded at approximately 3:07 a.m. to the 500 block of North Monroe Street for a reported shooting.
Police reported that a 42-year-old male victim was located at the scene with a gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation and additional details will be released as they become available.
