WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police arrested a 25-year-old man after he attempted to flee officers inside Barnaby’s Restaurant and Pub in the early morning hours of August 20, 2025.
According to investigators, officers were alerted shortly after 1:00 a.m. that a man with an active arrest warrant was inside the establishment at 15 South High Street. Police confirmed the warrant, issued by Parkesburg Borough Police in connection with an alleged robbery, and identified the individual as Zachary Harrison of West Chester.
When officers approached Harrison, he allegedly fled on foot but was quickly apprehended nearby. During the arrest, police say Harrison resisted and is accused of assaulting officers before being taken into custody.
Charges Filed
Harrison faces multiple charges in connection with the incident, including:
- Aggravated Assault
- Resisting Arrest/Law Enforcement
- Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot
- Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana
A preliminary hearing in the case is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
Authorities emphasized that all criminal charges are allegations only, and that Harrison, like any defendant, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
