MORGANTOWN, PA — A 33-year-old man is facing multiple charges after Caernarvon Township Police say he caused a disturbance in a neighborhood while allegedly intoxicated and later resisted arrest.
The incident occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 1:23 a.m., when officers responded to reports of a suspicious and intoxicated male in the area of Hampton Court and Valley Ponds Drive.
Police say the individual, identified as Courtland Collier-Dudden, was operating a BMW motorcycle and creating a disturbance by loudly revving the engine. Upon making contact, officers reported that Collier-Dudden showed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and the odor of alcohol.
According to police, Collier-Dudden refused to provide identification and attempted to flee, resulting in a struggle with officers. He was eventually restrained after resisting commands and physical holds.
A search revealed a marijuana vape in his possession. Investigators also discovered that the motorcycle had a fraudulent plate covering the legitimate registration. During transport to central processing, police allege Collier-Dudden remained uncooperative and made threatening remarks toward officers and their families.
Collier-Dudden has been charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, possession of a small amount of marijuana, disorderly conduct, possession of an altered or counterfeit plate or document, and public drunkenness.
Authorities emphasize that these charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
