KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A reported late-night fight inside an apartment building in Kennett Square ended with one man in custody and facing multiple charges, including terroristic threats, according to the Kennett Square Police Department.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 11:31 p.m. on February 10, 2026, to the 500 block of Center Street following a report of a fight. Upon arrival, police encountered a 36-year-old man, identified as Edgar Romero-Romero of Kennett Square, in the hallway of the apartment building.
According to police, Romero-Romero appeared intoxicated and told officers that individuals inside the apartment wanted to fight him. After speaking with the other parties involved, officers determined that Romero-Romero was allegedly the aggressor in the incident.
Police allege that Romero-Romero kicked down a bedroom door, kicked one individual while that person was in bed, and threatened to kill the individual during the altercation.
Romero-Romero was taken into custody at the scene and transported to Central Booking at Chester County Prison. He has been charged with terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct, and other related offenses.
The case is pending a preliminary hearing.
The charges are allegations. As with all criminal proceedings, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
