Kennett Square Woman Charged Following Alleged Assault Incident

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A local woman has been charged following an altercation in Kennett Square Borough that reportedly involved both an adult male and a juvenile.

According to the Kennett Square Police Department, the incident occurred on the evening of September 28, 2025, in the 100 block of South Walnut Street. Police allege that 34-year-old Bianca Tovar of Kennett Square engaged in a physical altercation with a male subject as well as a female juvenile. Authorities said the juvenile sustained contusions to her wrist as a result.

Following the investigation, Tovar was charged with endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, and harassment. Police confirmed that charges were filed in District Court 15-3-04. Tovar was arrested on September 30, and the matter is pending a preliminary hearing.

All charges are allegations, and a suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
