Kennett Square Man Charged Following Alleged Inappropriate Contact With Juvenile

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Police have arrested a local man following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact with a juvenile, according to the Kennett Square Police Department.

Authorities said 40-year-old Elpidio Galvez-Gonzalez was taken into custody and charged with endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault, and harassment after a juvenile reported that Galvez-Gonzalez had allegedly touched them inappropriately.

Investigators from the Kennett Square Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Division conducted an interview with Galvez-Gonzalez on October 22, 2025. During the interview, police said he admitted to the alleged conduct.

The incident reportedly occurred in the 300 block of East Linden Street in Kennett Square. Following the interview, Galvez-Gonzalez was transported to Central Booking at Chester County Prison, where he was processed and arraigned. A preliminary hearing is pending.

Authorities have not released additional details to protect the identity of the juvenile involved.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
