WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile on multiple charges following an alleged armed robbery in the city’s downtown area.
Authorities reported that the robbery occurred on June 21, 2025, at approximately 3:04 p.m., in the 600 block of North Walnut Street. Investigators identified the male juvenile as a suspect during their initial inquiry.
Shortly after the alleged incident, police located the suspect in the 800 block of North Walnut Street. According to officials, the juvenile fled when officers attempted to make contact. Following a brief foot pursuit, he was apprehended without further incident.
The 17-year-old has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Conspiracy (First Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
The juvenile was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and subsequently committed to the New Castle County Detention Center under a $31,000 cash-only bail.
Police emphasize that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
