Justice for Shawn Lockhart: Police Urge Community Help in Solving 2017 Murder

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is seeking public assistance in the ongoing investigation into the 2017 murder of Shawn Lockhart.

On December 5, 2017, officers responded to a reported shooting on the 800 block of North Jackson Street. Upon arrival, police discovered 30-year-old Lockhart, who had suffered gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The case remains unsolved, and investigators continue to seek leads. The Cold Case Unit has called on anyone with relevant information to come forward.
