PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are investigating an alleged robbery that occurred on Sunday, June 8, 2025, involving a suspect who impersonated law enforcement. The incident took place at approximately 2:11 p.m. on the 6400 block of Harbison Avenue.
According to police, the suspect zip-tied the victim, a 50-year-old female, before stealing approximately $1,000 in cash. The individual then fled the scene in a white Ford E-250 van heading northbound toward Roosevelt Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black baseball cap with a U.S. flag, black sunglasses, a black long-sleeve shirt, gloves, a black tactical vest labeled “Security Enforcement Agent,” and dark green cargo pants. The vehicle, reportedly used in the escape, is a white Ford E-250 with tinted windows, no rear window, a padlock on the cargo doors, and red dashes along the mid-line.
The Philadelphia Police Department has confirmed that no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active. The case is being handled by the Northeast Detectives.
