POTTSTOWN, PA — Police have issued a warrant for a 40-year-old man accused of taking merchandise from a local Home Depot without paying in full.
According to the Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Department, the incident occurred at the Home Depot located at 295 Armand Hammer Boulevard. Investigators allege that the suspect entered the store and selected a circuit box valued at $299, a paint sprayer valued at $139, and a zinc bolt. At the self-checkout, the suspect allegedly paid only for the bolt and a bottle of soda before leaving the store in a Jeep.
Through investigation, police identified the suspect as Tyler Wayne Brightbill of Pennsylvania. A warrant was issued on September 17, 2025, under docket number MJ-38112-CR-0000354-2025.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about Brightbill’s whereabouts to contact the Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Department at 610-326-1508.
Police emphasized that all charges are allegations, and Brightbill, like all defendants, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
