PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are searching for two unidentified men involved in an alleged armed robbery that followed a car accident on June 14, 2025, in the city’s Glenwood neighborhood.
Authorities reported the incident occurred at approximately 1400 Glenwood Avenue. The complainant alleged that while driving eastbound, his vehicle collided with another that abruptly exited a gas station parking lot. Following the collision, two men reportedly exited their vehicle and initiated a verbal dispute.
The complainant further alleged that as he attempted to photograph the suspects’ license plate, one of the individuals brandished a firearm and took his cellphone. The suspects then fled the scene in a gray Nissan Pathfinder, heading west on the 1400 block of West Glenwood Avenue.
Suspect descriptions provided by law enforcement are as follows:
- Suspect #1 is described as a Black male wearing all-black clothing.
- Suspect #2 is described as a Black male with brown or blonde braids or dreadlocks.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is leading the investigation. Officials urge individuals not to approach the suspects if seen and to contact 911 immediately.
