PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are requesting the public’s help in identifying individuals allegedly involved in the robbery of a 77-year-old man on the evening of April 27, 2025, in Center City Philadelphia.
According to the Central Detective Division, the incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. on the 1200 block of Spruce Street. The elderly victim was reportedly walking along the street when two suspects approached him from behind and pushed him to the ground. The suspects then allegedly stole the victim’s wallet before fleeing east on Spruce Street.
Surveillance footage capturing the individuals has been released by the police in an effort to gather tips from the community. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the crime or the suspects to contact the Central Detective Division. Philadelphia police have advised the public not to approach the suspects if seen and to immediately contact 911. Officials emphasize the importance of community cooperation in solving this case.
