NEWARK, DE — The Newark Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Markesha Dollard, 39, of Wilmington, who is wanted in connection with a series of shoplifting-related offenses spanning several months.
According to authorities, Dollard is linked to multiple incidents of organized retail theft that took place between October 2024 and March 2025. Investigators have secured warrants for her arrest on charges that include Possession of Shoplifting Tools, Breach of Release, and Organized Retail Theft, among others.
In addition to the Newark charges, Dollard is reportedly wanted by other law enforcement agencies and has multiple active capiases for failing to appear in court for previous shoplifting-related cases.
The Newark Police Department emphasized the importance of community support in apprehending individuals who pose a continuing threat to local businesses.
