SOLEBURY, PA — A Hatboro man has been arrested following an investigation into alleged online threats directed at police officers, according to the Solebury Township Police Department.
Authorities say the incident began on October 14, 2025, after the department shared a Facebook post notifying the public about traffic restrictions on the 6200 block of Lower Mountain Road, where through traffic was prohibited between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. In the comments section of that post, an individual allegedly made a direct threat toward officers, stating that he would drive through the restricted area and, if stopped, would “shoot them dead.”
Detectives launched an immediate investigation and identified the suspect as 45-year-old Manuel Cabral of Hatboro. On October 17 at approximately 9:20 a.m., Solebury Township Police, with assistance from the Upper Moreland Township Police Department, took Cabral into custody without incident.
Cabral was charged with terroristic threats, criminal use of a communication facility, and harassment. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Brian Marriott and transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post 10 percent of a $100,000 cash bail.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
