LINWOOD, PA — A man wanted since May in connection with an alleged domestic assault has been taken into custody by the Lower Chichester Police Department, announced authorities.

Michael Antonio McRae was arrested today, July 13, after a warrant was issued for his arrest following a violent incident that occurred on May 15.

According to police, officers were dispatched to a residence on the 300 block of White Avenue on the night of May 15 for a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers encountered a female victim who exhibited visible head injuries. The victim alleged that McRae, whom she identified as her husband, had physically assaulted her while intoxicated. She also reported that McRae had taken her car, identification, and other personal documents before fleeing the scene.

Investigators noted that McRae, who was reportedly monitoring the police presence through security cameras, called the victim during the officers’ initial response. He indicated a willingness to turn himself in, but conditioned it on the victim “knowing she cannot disrespect” him. Despite this claim, McRae did not return that evening and remained at large with the victim’s vehicle.

Following the incident, the Lower Chichester Township Police Department filed for an arrest warrant the next day, May 16.

McRae is now facing multiple charges, including several counts of simple assault and harassment.
