WALLINGFORD, PA — Police in Nether Providence Township are investigating two separate overnight incidents that unsettled residential neighborhoods in Wallingford, including an alleged burglary and suspected property damage caused by a high-powered pellet or BB gun.

According to the Nether Providence Police Department, officers are investigating a reported residential burglary on Parkridge Drive near the intersection of Ridge Lane. Police said the incident occurred sometime between 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026, and the early morning hours of January 16.

Investigators have not released details about what may have been taken but are asking residents in the area to review home security or doorbell camera footage recorded between 5:00 p.m. on January 15 and 9:00 a.m. on January 16 for any suspicious people or vehicles. Detectives said even minor observations could help establish a timeline or identify potential suspects.

In a separate incident reported the same day, police are also investigating alleged criminal mischief in the 300 block of Crestview Circle. Authorities said a homeowner reported that the front bay window of the residence was damaged overnight, leaving a hole consistent with being struck by a high-powered BB or pellet gun. That incident is believed to have occurred between midnight and 8:00 a.m. on January 16.

Police said they are working to determine whether anyone in the area may have heard unusual noises or observed suspicious activity during the overnight hours. Detectives are also seeking any security camera footage that may show individuals or vehicles connected to the incident.
