BEDMINSTER, PA — A Florida man wanted in connection with an alleged credit card fraud scheme in Bucks County has been taken into custody and returned to Pennsylvania to face multiple charges, according to Bedminster Township Police.
Authorities said 29-year-old Demetrius White was arrested on October 21, 2025, through a joint effort between the Bedminster Township and Doylestown Township Police Departments, with assistance from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida and the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. White was transported back to Bucks County, where he was arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. His bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000.
The charges stem from an incident reported on September 13, 2023, when Doylestown Township Police responded to a vehicle break-in at a local fitness center. Investigators said the rear window of a patron’s vehicle had been smashed, and a wallet was stolen. The victim’s credit card was allegedly used soon after to purchase three Vanilla Visa prepaid cards totaling $1,500.
Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified White as the individual suspected of using $1,000 worth of the prepaid cards. Because the victim resided in Bedminster Township, both Bedminster and Doylestown police departments served as co-affiants on the arrest warrant.
White faces charges of access device fraud, theft by deception, and receiving stolen property.
Officials noted that White is also being held on warrants from other states.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
