Firearm Seized as Sharon Hill Police Arrest Man on Assault, Weapons Charges

SHARON HILL, PA — Sharon Hill Borough police have announced the arrest of a borough man following an investigation into an alleged assault that culminated in the recovery of a firearm earlier this week.

According to the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department, the incident originated on January 15, 2026, within the borough and involved allegations of assault-related conduct. Police said the investigation led officers to identify Anthony Holloway, 37, of Sharon Hill, as a suspect in the case.

Holloway was apprehended on Wednesday, January 21, in the 900 block of Chester Pike. During the arrest, officers reported recovering a firearm from inside the vehicle Holloway was operating. Investigators allege that Holloway is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm.

As a result, Holloway was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, harassment, receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm prohibited, and carrying a firearm without a license. All charges are allegations.

Police said Holloway was unable to post bail and was transferred to the George Hill Correctional Facility pending further court proceedings.

All criminal charges are allegations. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
