BEAR, DE — The Delaware State Police are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Sunday night at a Burger King located on Pulaski Highway in Bear.
According to authorities, the incident took place on May 25, 2025, at approximately 11:06 p.m. Preliminary findings indicate that two unidentified suspects, described as black males wearing dark-colored clothing, approached a Burger King employee as she was taking out the trash. One of the suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at the employee and demanded money from inside the restaurant.
The employee complied with the demands, and the suspects fled the scene on foot, taking an undisclosed amount of cash. Authorities have stated that surveillance video and images related to the incident are currently unavailable.
The case is being handled by the Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit. Detective R. Strecker, who is leading the investigation, has requested that anyone with information regarding the robbery call 302-365-8413. Individuals may also provide information anonymously through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
The public is reminded that all individuals, including the suspects, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
