OXFORD, PA — A former employee of Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford has been charged with multiple felony counts following an investigation into allegations of theft and fraudulent activity.
According to the Oxford Police Department, Faith Curry, 23, of Peach Bottom, is accused of obtaining credit card information from six fellow employees and using it to conduct fraudulent transactions. The alleged incidents occurred between December 2023 and January 2025, totaling over $12,000 in completed and attempted purchases.
Authorities allege that Curry accessed the credit card details by entering the victims’ property while alone in an employee breakroom. An investigation was launched after police were called on March 7, 2025, to escort Curry from the premises. Following a series of interviews and evidence collection, an arrest warrant was issued, and Curry voluntarily turned herself in on May 21, 2025.
Curry has been charged with a range of offenses, including theft by unlawful taking, unauthorized use of access devices, identity theft, receiving stolen property, and other related charges. Specifically, these include three counts of identity theft, five counts of unauthorized use of access devices, and multiple counts each of theft involving movable and immovable property.
Curry was arraigned, and her bail has been set at $5,000 cash. She is currently being held at Chester County Prison.
It is important to note that these charges are allegations, and Curry is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
