Disabled RV Leads to Arrest of Man Wanted on Drug Charges

PIPERSVILLE, PA — The Tinicum Township Police Department has reported the arrest of a 39-year-old man following the discovery of a disabled recreational vehicle earlier this month.

On September 13, 2025, at approximately 9:04 a.m., officers responded to Mt. Airy Road for a report of a disabled RV. Upon arrival, officers identified the driver as  John Carper. A records check revealed that Carper was the subject of an active warrant issued by Pennsylvania State Police Dublin for dangerous drug-related offenses.

Carper was taken into custody at the scene without incident and transported to PSP Dublin for further processing.

Authorities emphasized that criminal charges are allegations. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
