Detroit Drug Pipeline Exposed, Brothers Face Charges

HARRISBURG, PA — Three brothers are charged in connection with what authorities allege was a Detroit-to-northwest Pennsylvania cocaine trafficking operation that was disrupted this week, according to the Office of Attorney General and Pennsylvania State Police.

Investigators with the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation had been conducting surveillance into suspected drug trafficking activity from Detroit, Michigan, into Erie and Lawrence counties, authorities said.

According to officials, Pennsylvania State Police stopped two vehicles Monday that were traveling into New Castle from Michigan. Police allege arrests were made and cocaine was seized during the vehicle stops.

Twin brothers Davon Johnson and Davion Johnson, both 25, were arraigned Tuesday on felony charges of corrupt organizations and drug trafficking, along with related offenses, authorities said. Bail for each was set at $100,000 cash.

Keshawn Johnson, 31, is also charged but is not currently in custody, according to officials.

Kelsey L. Parks is charged with felony corrupt organizations and related offenses. Her bail was set at $50,000 cash, authorities said.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges against other individuals are expected, according to the Attorney General’s Office. The case will be prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Zurisko.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
