Delivery Worker Robbed in Violent Struggle Caught on Camera

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a strongarm robbery that took place on April 19, 2025, in the city’s Allegheny neighborhood.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 PM, near 1508 Allegheny Avenue. According to police reports, a delivery worker from GoPuff was targeted while waiting to complete a delivery. Surveillance footage from the scene shows the suspect approaching from 15th and Allegheny. The individual then allegedly attacked the worker, engaging in a struggle before forcibly taking the victim’s wallet. The suspect was last seen leaving the area, heading back toward 15th and Allegheny.

The suspect is described as a Black male, medium build, approximately 30 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a mustache and goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white shirt with “Live Life” printed in black lettering and black pants.

Authorities urge anyone who spots the suspect not to approach him but to immediately contact 911. Confidential tips can be submitted by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477). Investigators remind the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
